Nobody summits alone. Someone belays, someone breaks trail, someone carries the heavier pack on the day you have nothing left. That's the part of climbing worth borrowing — not the flag on the top, the people who got you there.

Who's on the rope

• The ones who go first. Early drops go to the crew before anyone else hears about them.
• The ones who send the photos. Wear it somewhere high and tag us — we repost the best of it.
• The ones who keep showing up. Bad weather, early starts, no summit. Still out there.

Tie in, send us where you took it, and pull up to the next one. There's room on the rope.
